We've all been there: the wardrobe is full, but nothing seems to be suitable. Frustrated, you either reach for your favourite pair of jeans or go shopping. This is where Bianca Rangecroft comes in with her innovative, digital wardrobe and personal styling app, which helps users to use their clothes more efficiently and consume more sustainably.

Record clothes digitally

With the Whering app, users can digitally record and view all of their clothing. Whether through photos, image searches or direct links to online retailers, the app makes it easier to organise and access your own wardrobe at any time. Thanks to AI-supported functions, Whering also suggests suitable outfits and shows new combination options that you may never have considered before.

Make better use of what we already have

By helping users to use their existing wardrobe more efficiently, the app promotes more sustainable consumption. The special "Wardrobe Analytics" function tracks how often items of clothing are worn and calculates the "cost per wear". Studies show that most people only use around 20% of their wardrobe on a regular basis, while clothes are only worn an average of seven times before they are considered "old". So the most sustainable thing we can do is to wear what we already own.

Repairing, cleaning, donating and renting

In addition to simply organising your wardrobe, the Whering app offers additional services such as repairing, cleaning and donating clothes. Users can buy second-hand items, rent clothes and discover sustainable brands via the integrated marketplace. Community functions are also integrated into the app so that users can inspire each other and exchange styling tips.

If you want to find out more about the future of (fashion) retail and the importance of technology within this field, it's worth attending the International Retail Summit. In the talk entitled "Fashion Forward: The tech-driven wardrobe", Bianca Rangecroft will present her app in greater detail and share valuable insights. She will be joined by other internationally renowned speakers and experts from the retail sector. Take the opportunity to exchange ideas, expertise and experiences with leading industry representatives and enjoy our hospitality at one of the most beautiful locations on Lake Zurich.
