Academy of Behavioral Economics 2018
How New Technologies Are Changing Human Behaviour
How New Technologies Are Changing Human Behaviour
We are currently experiencing one of the most far-reaching technological revolutions in the history of humanity. Digital technologies aren’t just reshaping entire business models and sectors of the economy – they’re also radically changing human behaviour. New technologies demand new skills and ways of thinking. But how can companies prepare their employees for this upheaval? How will consumption, compliance and cooperation change? And how can behavioural economics research support us during the technological revolution?
Behavioural economics research has been engaging with these questions for years. The Academy of Behavioural Economics 2018 offers a unique arena in which to discover the latest exciting research findings from top international behavioural economists and discuss the impact of new technologies on your business, customers and employees with well-known politicians and economists. The Academy is also a hub for pioneers and new trends in behavioural economics and offers a platform for young, up-and-coming talents.
The Academy is aimed at decision-makers, thinkers and consultants working in economics, politics and society. It offers insights into human behaviour, which is only partially rational, and its role in and consequences for companies, markets and society. The findings of behavioural economics are not only revolutionising science; those who draw the right lessons from typical behavioural patterns gain a strategic advantage for their organisations.
Three reasons to participate:
- Up-and-coming talents and the most influential behavioural economists from around the world will be presenting their latest research findings in a unique context
- Speakers from diverse areas of industry will be addressing controversial issues
- You will learn how insights into human behaviour can be used to the benefit of companies, as well as for the (re)structuring of markets
