In addition to trend research, the Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute has expanded its services this year to include strategy and innovation consulting and leadership programmes. "Especially in times of increasing change dynamics, such as today, both research into a possible future and the implementation of concrete innovations are becoming increasingly important for society and companies," says GDI CEO Lukas Jezler.

As Head of Strategic Services, Susan Shaw heads our innovation consultancy. A social scientist with extensive experience in market research, she was most recently the managing director of GIM Suisse. Throughout her career, she has focussed intensively on how people interact with brands, products and services. She has conducted countless studies on customer needs in various industries and worked with numerous companies to develop future consumer behaviour patterns. "With Strategic Services, we explore the question of what the findings of the think tank mean for individual industries and companies as well as their target groups. We support businesses with everything from trend identification and evaluation, through the definition of fields of action, to the development of trend-based innovation concepts," Shaw says about the GDI's new offer.

In addition to trend research at a societal level and strategic innovation consulting at a corporate level, the "Leadership & Transformation" offering headed by Tanja Ineichen complements the GDI’s portfolio at an individual level. Ineichen has extensive experience in the retail sector, where she initiated and managed leadership development initiatives in the Migros Group for more than 15 years. "Future shapers in top management are the driving forces of innovation in the company. Our services accompany managers in their personal development and support them in shaping their teams and organisations," Ineichen says.

The GDI's latest services build on the long-standing tradition of trend research established by Gottlieb Duttweiler more than six decades ago. Today, under the direction of Dr Johannes Bauer, the GDI research department offers studies, presentations and internationally renowned trend conferences. The results of trend research are channelled directly into practice. "Through our strong team of trend researchers, innovation consultants and leadership development experts, we put our promise of 'creating futures' into action. We research the future and shape it together with businesses," Lukas Jezler says.
