 ense\, COVID-19 has simply accelerated a development that has already long
  been underway. Remote working and after-work drinks on Zoom were only the
  beginning. The rapid pace of technological development is continually cre
 ating new ways to meet up with people. Many cultural performances have alr
 eady moved online\, and gaming and e-sports platforms are booming. Ultimat
 ely\, we will have more ways to meet up than ever before. This will change
  us as people\; intimacy and the value of social activities will be redefi
 ned. At the 17th European Trend Day\, we will present the most remarkable 
 developments and gauge how and where we will meet up in future. We will di
